【The Introduction of Asian Sexuality Education Conference】
In 2001, the first conference was held in Beijing. The resounding success of the event not only highlighted the importance of sexuality education in the Asian region but also established a regularly held international exchange platform. Held every 3 years in various Asian countries, it is dedicated to promoting research and practice in sexual education. It also provides a valuable opportunity for scholars, educators, and practitioners to engage in cross-cultural dialogue.
The Asian Sexuality Education Conference brings together experts and practitioners from various countries and regions, including China, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Malaysia. The conference focuses on addressing regional challenges and global trends in sexuality education, aiming to enhance academic collaboration, promote best practices, and improve public awareness of sexuality education. The regular convening of the conference not only advances the development of sexuality education across Asian countries but also provides valuable research insights and collaborative models for the global field of sexuality education.
